Custom Tie-Dye Creations

My custom pieces are hand-dyed with love and care at my home studio in Winter Park, Florida. I use a distinctive technique that blends ice dying and heat to create a marbling effect that beautifully showcases bold colors or gentle muted tones. Due to the nature of the dye process and my custom color blends, each creation is guaranteed to be one of a kind.

I’m always happy to consider wild or one-off projects (tie-dye curtains, anyone??). As long as the fabric is at least 50% cotton, I can probably dye it! 

What materials are your apparel items made from?  

I always choose soft cotton shirts, tanks, sweatshirts, shorts, and other apparel. I’m happy to work with you to select the type of item that you’re looking for! 

What is ice dyeing?

Ice dyeing is a technique where a powder dye is sprinkled over ice that sits on top of fabric that has been scrunched, twisted, or folded to create the desired pattern. As the ice melts, it carries the dye through the fabric. The result is a look that is softer and more modern than traditional tie dye. It’s often likened to watercolors.

Do you also do traditional tie dye? 

Yes! You can always request that I use a traditional tie-dye technique if that’s the look you prefer.

Could you dye my well-loved apparel item? 

Absolutely! I love to bring new life to your favorite pieces. If you have a clothing item that is stained, dull, or just in need of some TLC, I’m happy to take a look and see if it would work for dyeing.
